Hearing Dogs for Deaf People trains dogs to alert deaf people to important and life-saving sounds such as the smoke alarm, alarm clock, intruder alarms and baby monitors. These amazing dogs also help deaf people to leave loneliness behind by providing love, companionship and emotional support.

Story

Dear all,

Thanks for taking the time to look at our page. hopefully we can persuade you to sponsor us on our run for what we believe is a very deserving charity, and the opportunity to change someones quality of life.

Each dog is sponsored by a group or company happy to raise the £5000 needed for a dogs training, support and aftercare.

Our goal is ro raise £1,000.00 to help train a canine companion and we aim to do this through a number of fund-raising initiatives and your kind sponsorship. To help with our sponsorship, we have devised an 'incentive plan' as follows: -

At £200, we run wearing comedy dog ears

At £400, we run wearing comedy dog tails

At £600 Andy agrees to give up fried food for one whole month!

At £800 Kev agrees (reluctantly) to give up his fave red wine for one whole month

At £1000 - name your challenge folks!

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor 'the team' online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Hearing Dogs For Deaf People will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
