29 Aug 2009: F3 events The Big South Swim, open water, 3.8km, Dorney Lake Eton College Rowing Club, 1hr 54mins 53secs, without wetsuit, water temp 21 C, 10am start (very painful recovery, ouch!) (145).

13 Sept 2009: Great North Swim, open water, 1-mile, Lake Windermere, 44mins 03secs with wetsuit, water temp 16 C, 9am start, blue wave (3728).

26 Sept 2009: Great East Swim, open water, 1-mile, Alton Water Suffolk, 41mins 16secs with wetsuit, water temp 17 C, 9.30am start, yellow wave missed (swam in the 10am silver wave) (353).

20 Sept 2009, (also 26 Sept, 27 Sept, 18 Oct), Bramcote SC Club Championships.

19 Jun 2010: Great East Swim, open water, 500m and 1-mile, Alton Water Suffolk, (500m: 27mins 45 secs with sleeveless wetsuit, water temp 16 C, 9 knots head wind, too tough, thought I had forgotten to swim) (1013), 8.45am start. (1-mile course altered to 1100m, 3pm start, light grey wave, no times available (5671).

3 Jul 2010: Great London Swim, open water, 1-mile, Royal Victoria Docks, 45mins 01secs with sleeveless wetsuit, water temp 21 C, 8.30am start, red wave (1177).

7 Aug 2010: Big Scottish Swim, open water, 1-mile, Elie, Fife, 49mins 50secs with sleeveless wetsuit, water temp 14 C, 12.30pm start, orange wave (49B).
