Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.  After successfully completing the Edinburgh marathon in 2007 (well I finished), this year I am running the London Marathon for the Children First International charity. 

As is the tradition with these things i am looking for sponsorship.

The Charity

The charity is run by Colin Mansell and is called Children First International, it was started with a desire to provide warm clothes for children in Zimbabwe and became an initiative that is becoming more challenging.

It is still a small independent charity but the desire to help under-privileged children has grown by encouraging and facilitating the development of life-skills and self-esteem and networking to raise awareness amongst children of other cultures.

The place I have in the marathon is a bonded place which means I need to raise as much money for the charity as possible so any donations are greatly appreciated. I am aiming to do the marathon in less then 5 hours (which given i'm carrying the equivalent of an army backpack on my front will be a challenge).
