Oh no, what are these muppets doing now?? They are attempting to raise as much money as possible for a little known charity, Arrythmia Alliance

Cardiac arrhythmias affect more than two million people in the U.K. Arrhythmia Alliance (A-A) is a coalition of individuals, patient groups, professional medical groups and allied professionals who work together to promote timely and effective diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias. Their aims are promoting better understanding, diagnosis, treatment and quality of life for individuals with cardiac arrhythmias.

Now most people who know either us will know that we are both scientists who like running marathons. So we are taking the challenge that little bit further and will line up at the start of Virgin London Marathon 2010 dressed as our alter egos, Beaker and Bunsen. Not only that but we are going beyond marathon distance with a 33M trail race in Marlborough in May, before Bunsen (aka claire) heads out in June to tackle a double marathon, yes thats 52M in hopefully 1 day. Not only that, but it is in the Mourne Mountains in Ireland. Gulp.

Training for a marathon takes time, training for a 33M race takes longer, but 52M..its a tough few months ahead. So please, please, please dig deep and help me raise as much money as possible
