Lorna and I are cycling some 50+ miles from Glasgow to Edinburgh as part of the Pedal for Scotland in support of our chosen charity The Greyhound Awareness League (GAL).

As most of you will know we adopted Stitch from GAL earlier this year and there are literaly hundreds of greyhounds needing rehomed each year. So far this year GAL have managed to rehome over 90.  GAL are celebrating their anniverary this year having rehomed thousands of rescued Greyhounds & Lurchers since 1998. In order to continue the great work carried out by the charity I would appreciate your strong support for this difficult challenge and worthwhile cause.

The continued support of GAL will help save the lives of thousands Greyhound/lurchers that would otherwise not have a chance. These dogs are loving, gentle and intelligent creatures who have often been kept in very spartan conditions during their 'professional' lives, and who deserve the chance to live out the rest of their lives in comfort.
