My story

 

Thank you for visiting the Buy a 'Baby' Brick fundraising page.

This wonderful new fundraising scheme gives you the opportunity to Buy a ‘Baby’ Brick for just £10 and help build a new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for the Royal United Hospital in Bath.   You will also become part of the campaign to build the first NICU of its kind in the UK.

The existing NICU Unit is incredibly cramped, with a high level of bustle and noise which makes caring for our special babies extremely difficult.  The Forever Friends Appeal’s NICU ‘space to grow’ Campaign aims to build a brand new spacious and sustainable Unit that will be ‘green’, double in size, safer and calmer for both our vulnerable babies and their parents.

In return for Buying a ‘Baby’ Brick you will receive a ‘Baby’ Brick certificate, together with an acknowledgement within the design of the new NICU. 

Each virtual ‘baby’ brick costs only £10, a row costs £100 and a wall £1,000 and you can choose to buy as many ‘baby’ bricks, rows or walls as you would like.

You could buy a ‘baby’ brick as a celebration gift, in memory of a loved one or even just for yourself.  Schools, workplaces or groups of friends are also encouraged to get together and aim to fundraise enough to purchase a row or even a wall.


Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Royal United Hospital Charitable Fund gets your money faster and, if you’re a taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
