Hull & East Yorkshire Medical Research Centre (Daisy Appeal) opened in 2008. The charity built the Jack Brignall PET-CT Scanning Centre in 2014. In 2024 we built a Molecular Imaging Research Centre to produce PET CT tracers. We are fundraising for a £3m digital scanner to help save more lives.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The Daisy Appeal is a local Charity established to help improve treatment and research into common diseases. Having funded the construction of a new Medical Research Centre at Castle Hill Hospital, they are now looking to raise a further £7 million to purchase state of the art scanning equipment.

We all know someone who has suffered from cancer or heart disease.

This last year one of our work colleagues contracted leukemia, thankfully, he's making  a good recovery. His recovery is largely down to the superb and efficient treatment he received in the new Castle Hill complex. In making a small donation we can help them reach their target. Please, just follow the instructions below.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
