As you've got this far, I'm assuming you're curious. The answer is yes, I have signed up for the London Marathon which, given my injury record and love of a tipple, is quite surprising.

Don't worry though, I managed to do 17 miles the other day - not bad after a month out injured and only two days after a trip to the Cheltenham Gold Cup (1 mile run for each hour drinking). So I'm quietly confident I'll do it.

Now onto the sponsorship part. Those who know me well will realise that Heart UK is a charity close to, well, my heart. Obvious pun but you get the picture.

Two small points:
1. Make sure you tick Gift Aid. You know it makes sense
2. As I like an occassional flutter, I thought I'd give you the chance to have one too.  Sponsor me £20+ and you can guess my time in your message. Not only will you make everyone else laugh when you put 8 hours but I'll give £20 to whoever's closest.
