Story

Hello!

So this summer, I’m planning on cutting a considerable amount of hair off and donating it to the charity The Princess Trust. I’ve been wanting to do this for a while, but keep chickening out.

I thought it was about time that I manned up, so I’ve decided now that this JustGiving page is set up, there is no way I can back out!

I’m hoping to not only donate my hair so it can be made into a wig for children who’ve lost their hair due to cancer treatment, but also raise money for Macmillan Cancer Care in the process.

A year ago today (Feb 12th), my Grandma sadly passed away after suffering from cancer, and I want to raise some money in memory of her. She was a truly lovely person (lovely isn’t a word to justify her amazingness, but I can’t think of anything better) and I’d love to be able to raise some money in her memory.

I’m going to wait until summer to get my hair cut, as I have placement on the last week of June, and I don’t want to look horrendous. Also, looking nice in my birthday photos at the start of July would be an added bonus

Thanks for reading all this jargon. If you haven’t got enough money to sponsor me which I totes understand as loads of you reading this are probably poor students, please just promise me that you won’t laugh at me when I look totes ridic.

I'll probably film the horrific moment too, so you can all look forward to that on youtube...

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
