Born Too Soon is dedicated to enhancing the care provided at Kingston Hospital's Neonatal Unit for premature and unwell babies and their families. With your help, we can provide crucial equipment that makes a big difference in their early development and supports families through challenging times.

Story

Thank you very much for visiting our fund raising page

We are taking part in a gruelling cycle ride on the 2nd and 3rd May that will take us from one side of the country to the other.

The cycle ride will begin in South shields, Newcastle on the east coast of England and finish in Silloth on the west coast, the route will follow Hadrians's wall. We will be doing this in memory of Louie Joseph Thatcher who died on the 1st December 2008.

We are helping raise funds for the neonatal unit at Kingston Hospital where Louie was cared for. The unit cares for babies born up to 4 months too soon, weighing as little as one pound (450 grams) also sick newborn infants requiring specialist care. They also support parents whilst their baby is being cared for on the unit and also raise funds to purchase specialist equipment. The unit cared for 500 tiny and sick babies last year.

Thank you again,

Joe, Gary, Steve, Mick, James, Sharon ,Sam and Becca
