On the week of the 5th September 2011, Kieran Roche, Ian Roberts and Michael Paul, will set off from Hamble, near Portsmouth and row around the west of the Isle of Wight, across the English Channel to Cherbourg.
The Journey is approximately 100 miles however with tidal patterns and two of the busiest shipping lanes in the world to navigate this could increase tremendously.
Clearly with no rowing experience between the three of us this challenge will be quite a test and therefore we would ask that you dig deep and give as much as you can for what is a worthwhile charity.
