BUPA Great South Run 2007 · 28 October 2007 ·

CAFOD works with local partners and communities across the world - responding to emergencies, promoting long-term development and raising public awareness of the causes of poverty. We work with people of all faiths and none for a safe, sustainable and peaceful world.

Story

Thank you for visiting my GSR fundraising page for CAFOD

Please sponsor me online. It saves the hassle of trying to work out (and track down) who's signed up on on a sponsorship form!

For anyone amazed (ie family and friends and the school) that I'm in for the Great South Run, I decided to do it for two reasons.

First, I wanted to do something to show my admiration for the great work CAFOD does for people all across the world, and the great reputation it has among all the humanitarian aid agencies.

Second, I wanted to test my own ability - as not the youngest entrant! - to push myself round a course in company with thousands of others doing things for good causes.  I'm very pleased to know I'm part of a lively Bracknell team of volunteers representing both our churches, schools and community.

So please sponsor me and let my feet do the work!

Many thanks for your support

Annette
