Story
Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.
We are a team of four (Paul Clements, Kevin O'Healy, Ian Pudney and Colin Seward) participating in the Cahors Challenge 2011 in France on September 29th to October 1st.
The Cahors Challenge is a three day event in which we’ll be cycling 500 miles in relay from Brittany in Normandy through some challenging terrain to the 14th century medieval bridge over the river Lot in Cahors. You can find more information on the event and route here -->
http://www.challengeadventurecharities.org.uk/Challenges/The+Cahors+Challenge+2011.aspx
Throughout the event we will be regularly keeping you updated through a number of technologies, our facebook and twitter pages (ask us for details) and back by popular demand 'Colin's blog' http://cahorschallenge2011.blogspot.com/ and to give you a flavor of the event the past three years blogs can be accessed at
http://irishchallenge2010.blogspot.com/ and

Our aim is to raise £2000 for charity and we need your help to reach that target, this year half of all we raise will be sent to the charity of our choice which this year is Encephalitis. The remaining half will be donated to two charities regularly supported by the event charity - Cancer Research UK and the British Heart Foundation with 100% of what we raise going to these very worthwhile causes.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Challenge Adventure Charities gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation. Thank you for your support and keep up to date on our progress via the blog.
