Story

Hello – thanks for stopping by!

Throughout 2011 I'm going to be undertaking a series of running challenges (approximately one a month) around the UK. They range in length from 5K to marathon distance, and pretty much everything else in between. You can keep up to date with the events I've entered, and how I get on, by either checking in here or you can also follow me on twitter: www.twitter.com/runcalumrun and also my blog http://runcalumrun.blogspot.com

Events in my race diary for the year so far: Great Winter Run 5K (January); Running Shop X Country 6 Miler (February); Alloa Half Marathon (March); Edinburgh Kilomathon (April); Edinburgh Marathon (May); Great North Run (September); Cardiff Half Marathon (October). More events will be added to this list once my place is confirmed.

My sponsoring me, no matter how much, you'll be helping me to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. I'm sure we all know of friends and family whose lives have been affected by cancer – it affects us all. That's why the work of Macmillan in providing support (medical, financial and practical) to those in need is invaluable. By donating even a small amount at some point throughout 2011, you'll be making an important contribution towards Macmillan achieving their aim of reaching, and improving the lives of, everyone living with cancer, their families and carers.
