Great South Run 2009 · 25 October 2009 ·

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Hiya,

I'm going to be running the Great South Run in October which is a 10 mile run around Portsmouth and Southsea.

I'm going to be dressed up as Mr Wallyman(see photo)

I have never been into running at all,so it's going to be a big effort for me and i'm going to have to do lot's of training.

I'm rasing money for The Stroke Association as my uncle recently had a Stroke and without all the help he had,he would not be as strong as he is today.

Thanks in advance
