60 FOR 60 – Celebrating 60 Years of Frances Connolly

In September 2026, a team of incredible local athletes will take on an extraordinary challenge to celebrate the 60th birthday of one remarkable woman – Frances Connolly.

Frances and her husband Patrick became household names after winning the EuroMillions in 2019, but what has truly defined Frances is not her lottery win – it's her unwavering commitment to giving back. Through The PFC Trust, Frances has dedicated herself to supporting individuals, families, charities and community groups, helping to change lives across our region and beyond.

To mark this special milestone, seven athletes will attempt the 60 FOR 60 Challenge – completing a combined 60 miles across seven demanding disciplines in just seven days.

The challenge includes:

🏃 400m sprint

🏃 800m run

🏃 5K run

🏃 10K run

🏃 Half Marathon

🏊 1-mile swim

🚴 35+ mile cycle ride

Together, they will push themselves to their limits in honour of Frances and to raise vital funds for The PFC Trust.

Every mile completed represents the thousands of lives that have been touched by the Trust's work. From funding grassroots community projects and supporting vulnerable individuals, to helping local charities continue their life-changing services, The PFC Trust exists to create opportunities, provide hope and make a lasting difference where it is needed most.

This challenge isn't just about sport. It's about celebrating generosity, community spirit and the belief that everyone deserves the chance to thrive.

Main Event Sponsor – £5,000 (1 Available)

Athlete Sponsor – £500 (14 Available)

Sponsor one of our athletes and be directly linked to their journey, receiving recognition alongside their updates and achievements throughout the challenge.

Rear Kit Sponsor – £200 (4 Available)

Display your logo on the rear of an athlete's kit and show your support for the challenge and The PFC Trust.

Sponsor a Mile – £50 (60 Available)

Sponsor one of the 60 miles being completed during the challenge and become part of every step, stroke and pedal turn along the way.

Community Sponsorship – From £5

Not a business? No problem. Community Sponsorship allows anyone to contribute from as little as £5 and play a part in helping us reach our fundraising target.
