We're so excited to let you know that the joint fundraising appeal with BBC Children in Need and Girlguiding is now open, so you can start having heaps of fun taking part!
We're asking you, our amazing parents, young people, leaders and volunteers to Supercharge your fundraising by doing something you love, then making it longer, faster or bigger than ever before.
It's important to us that everyone can take part so that every girl and young woman has a chance to do amazing things, whoever they are and wherever they're from.
Whether its a group of girls from your unit trying their favourite styles of dance, team football drill races, a walking or running relay, reading competition or doing a community clean-up, we'd love to see it!
This is how you can get involved:
- Choose an activity you'll love doing. Think how you can supercharge it by getting together with friends or girls in your unit to make it longer, faster or bigger than ever before.
- Set your own target. It could be a personal goal or a group target you want to do together. Pick the timeframe, then enjoy working towards it.
- Ask your family or friends to sponsor you. Let people know their sponsorship will also help local guiding units like yours. Don't forget to have heaps of fun taking part.
- Submit your donations. The best way to make sure your donations come straight to us is to use our brilliant donation page once you have completed your activity! We'll keep this page open until early 2023.
The money raised will be split equally between BBC Children in Need and Girlguiding to help make a difference to young lives in communities across the UK. It will help provide funding for Girlguiding at a local and national level to benefit girls the length and breadth of the UK.
