Lennox Children's Cancer Fund makes a positive difference to the lives of children fighting cancer. This is achieved through key projects, such as Respite Breaks and Care Grants, which support the whole family practically, financially and emotionally at a time when it is needed most.

Story

Can you help us raise £42,900 to secure the future of the charity and its projects for the next three months?

Lennox Childrens Cancer Fund provides projects that offer financial grants, respite holidays and emotional support to the families of children with cancer. We rely entirely on small businesses and individuals to raise funds through events and activities at work, or challenges. Because many people are working from home, and others are self-isolating, our income has dropped by more than £3,000 per week and we are struggling to raise the funds required to maintain our services.

This is likely to get worse as new measures are implemented by the government.

We do not have the comfort of any reserves like many bigger charities do, so the truth is, we just do not know if we will survive this without the help of our Lennox army!

The packages announced by the government to help small businesses with loans and grants are not available to small charities like us. We still have ongoing commitments such as rent, rates and utilities, in addition to the running costs of our holiday homes, and not to mention our hard working employees.

Cancer doesnt stop during a pandemic or a lockdown, so the practical, financial and emotional support that we provide to the children and families living with childhood cancer is still just as important as ever before.

Will you or your organisation consider making a one-off donation to help us secure the future of the charity so that we can continue making a positive difference to the lives of children with cancer during and after this pandemic?
