Lincolnshire Wildlife Park incorporating The National Parrot Sanctuary, provides rescue facilities for needy animals specialising in Parrots and Tigers in order to offer them long term care and sanctuary. We feel these animals need more than just being passed from home to home.

Story

Aleks is a beautiful male White Tiger that was rescued from devastating conditions in Kharkiv region. HAU (Helping Animals of Ukraine) found him dehydrated, infested with parasites and exhausted. His skin was badly inflamed and could be seen through bald patches on his back. He couldn't even stand on his hind legs. Aleks' diagnosis looked bleak, with gastrointestinal issues and poor liver and kidney function. However, through their expertise Aleks is on the road to recovery.

Aleks is to be evacuated from this warzone. We are desperate to bring him to our sanctuary in Lincolnshire from Ukraine. It's a 1630 mile journey, but one of the most life-changing journey's for Aleks to bring him peace, health and safe sanctuary.

The team at Lincolnshire Wildlife Park are embarking on one of our largest missions yet, working tirelessly to create a safe and enriching space for Aleks' lifelong care.

We know that current inflation is having a huge impact on people everywhere, so every penny donated really will go a long way to turn around the life of this innocent and desperate animal.
