A Final Big Push: Help Us Raise the Last £50,000 to Complete Phase 1 of Our New Community Pavilion.
We are so close.
After years of planning, fundraising, and sheer community determination, the new Community Pavilion at Knipton Cricket Ground is now within touching distance.
What stands before us is not just a building — it is a commitment. A commitment to our children, our families, our volunteers, our cricket club, and to every community member who deserves a safe, warm, accessible place to gather, learn, play, and belong.
We are building a community, sports and education hub for all, 'Our home is your home'
This Community Pavilion will be the beating heart of our village for decades. A place where children discover confidence and healthier lifestyles. Where families share summer evenings. Where friendships grow. Where our charity can expand its life changing work. Where Belvoir Cricket Club finally has a home worthy of its history and future.
But right now, we face the final hurdle.
To open the doors, fully fitted and ready for the community, we must raise the final £50,000. This final amount will complete the interior, equip the community room, and ensure the building is accessible, warm, and ready for year round use.
If you’ve supported us already, thank you. If you’ve been waiting for the right moment, this is that moment.
Every single contribution — whether £10 or £10,000 — moves us closer to opening a facility that will transform opportunities for children and families across Knipton, Belvoir, and the surrounding villages.
Why This Matters
The current pavilion is in disrepair and no longer fit for purpose. The new facility will provide:
• Fully accessible changing rooms and toilets
• A warm, dry indoor hall for year round sport, education, and community programmes
• A permanent home for Belvoir Cricket Club
• A dedicated space for countryside education and youth development
• A vital community hub in an area of rural deprivation
From this new base, the Belvoir Education & Sports Trust will grow its reach from 5,400 children to over 7,000 every year, giving more young people access to sport, nature, confidence building, and life changing experiences.
The Financial Picture
• Total project cost: £875,000
• Already secured: £825,000 (through grants, fundraising, donations, and pledges)
• Remaining to raise: £50,000
This is the final piece of the puzzle — the last step before we can open the doors.
Our Commitment
The Belvoir Education & Sports Trust (Charity No. 1131442) holds a new 50 year lease on the ground, guaranteeing long term stability and community benefit. This community pavilion will serve generations.
We Need You With Us
Your support now will have a direct, visible, lasting impact. You will be helping to create a space that changes lives.
Please help us finish what we’ve started. Please help us open the doors. Please help us build something extraordinary for our community.
Thank you — from all of us, The Team and Trustees Belvoir Education & Sports Trust
