Charlotte Runs from Source to Sea as the London Marathon is cancelled, from Bog to Beach on 4th Oct

We were lucky enough to win a place for Charlotte, our Community and Volunteers Officer, to run the London Marathon, sadly this has been postponed until 2021. So her training does not go to waste she now plans to run the whole of the river 28 miles!

Story

Charlotte has been running for a number of years and is finally ready to take on the ultimate challenge. For the past 20 years she has been working to transform Edinburgh's river in to the clean and green haven for wildlife it is today. She has lead over 1000 volunteer task and been responsible for removing hundreds of cubic meters of litter for our waterway. Her dedication and devotion is undeniable and her smile and laugh unforgettable, so help her raise funds to support the river she loves

About the charity

The first river charity to be established in Scotland we work as guardians of the Water of Leith, raising the profile of this key environmental asset, educating and inspiring people to enjoy the Water of Leith and promote community action to help the river and its wildlife.
