PSDS provides a wide range of essential services and support for children and young people with Down syndrome and their families. Through our "see potential, celebrate success" philosophy we change perceptions about what a diagnosis of Down syndrome really means.

Story

WE DID IT!!!!! We took on the Colour Challenge 5k assault course with our friend Thea and we made it round the course together as a team. It was very hot, very muddy and very funny (although we all ache like crazy now!).

We took on this challenge to support PSDS because we have seen how much the charity does to help children and young people with Down syndrome reach their individual potential and the amazing support they give to families too. Thea and her PSDS friends attend fortnightly communication groups, a monthly dance club, social events and life skills activities, but the charity provides lots of other services and activities too - for babies, toddlers, primary school age children, students at secondary school and college and young adults. PSDS is a charity run by families for families which changes outcomes and changes lives. We know how much difference each donation to PSDS will make.

We are so proud of Thea for showing her determination, giving so many different obstacles a go and not giving up when it all got really tough (pretty much every obstacle!).

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far and to all who decide our efforts are worthy of the price of a cup of coffee (or more!!).
