Stepping Stones DS is an extended family of support that helps young people with Down syndrome fulfil their potential by providing opportunities to be social, have fun and learn.

Tilly's Story

Stepping Stones DS has given us and Tilly so many gifts, from the immediate support and advice through to their coffee mornings when she was a few months old.

They have provided incredible educational groups in her early years to the ongoing support from experienced individuals going into primary and secondary school, without which Tilly's educational journey would not have been as positive as it has.

Within all of this we have also had the opportunity to meet wonderful friends. We've seen Justin Fletcher in person (a particular Tilly highlight!) at the annual panto outing, and have attended Christmas parties, where our children can enjoy themselves in a safe environment.

Tilly has been to dance lessons and we have attended numerous courses which have provided us with vital information to help us on our Down Syndrome journey.
