Please give your love to a child with SEND this Valentines Day. By giving just £20 to this appeal, you can fund one hour of Learn Through Play activities for a child at our centres, where our specialist Early Years staff help each individual child to access the world in their own way. Just £15 could fund a Family Support outreach session and help a family of a child with SEND to access vital services and gain confidence.
At Dingleys Promise our aim is to give every child in the Early Years with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) the best start. We have been working hard to reverse the impacts of the pandemic on the children and their families, providing higher needs support to fill gaps in physical development including physiotherapy and massage. Families have relied upon our support.
"Dingley's Promise have been such an amazing help to me and my son over the past year, helping with his learning and development and helping me to gain access to the support and resources I need to help him. Seeing the changes in my son from where he was in Oct 2020 to where he currently is, despite the challenges of the pandemic, has been truly amazing. He has become such a little character, he has such a lovely bond with the staff and loves being there."

This year, we continue to respond to the needs of the children and families who joined us pre 2022, but also must adapt and respond to the very different needs of children who are just joining Dingley's Promise. These children have experienced significant delays in accessing Early Years education and in most cases been unable to access support services, leaving families in limbo and without assessment of need or diagnosis. Children born from 2018 onwards, would, in pre-pandemic times, have accessed social settings such as playgroups or interactive music and sensory sessions, as well as the opportunity for much needed social interaction. Absence of these activities has a profound effect on all children of this age, but the impacts on children with SEND are much more acute. Significant intervention is required to enable them to access vital learning opportunities.
Please help us to transform the lives of these children over the coming months by donating to our appeal and giving your love to a child with SEND this Valentines Day.
Thank you!
