Finding Your Feet 2025 Christmas Appeal

Campaign by Finding Your Feet

Every Christmas, support needs grow while funding drops. Your donation helps us give amputees across Scotland the real gift of connection through our clubs, counselling and community support.

We provide a wide range of support to individuals who have been affected by limb absence, through sporting initiatives and social inclusion projects.

Story

“When I lost my leg, the early days were really dark. I sat in a corner in my pyjamas every day. I didn’t know how to be a new mum and an amputee. “I feel I’ve built myself back up emotionally, mentally, physically with all the help from Finding Your Feet. It’s life changing. It’s life saving.” Toni

As the only national amputee charity in Scotland supporting those who have lost limbs through cancer, diabetes, sepsis, addiction, road accidents and more, our service has become vital to people of all ages and backgrounds.

Christmas represents a time of joy for many, but for us - with grants and fundraising slowing down - it's always a push to keep delivering support to amputees. The season also sees a lot of people we work with struggling with loneliness and stress, meaning we have to double our efforts.

In short, we need your help. If you can make a donation or simply share the video below, you'll be helping amputees throughout the country.

Donations help provide a vital lifeline for amputees in Scotland:

● £5 helps 1 Trooper attend Ampu-Teas for friendship and support

● £20 gives 4 Troopers a swimming session to build strength and confidence

● £250 funds 6 counselling sessions for someone struggling with their mental health

● £500 supports a Peer Support Volunteer for a full year

● £1,000 helps 40 Troopers receive 1-1 support when they need it most

We are also running our Christmas Raffle and Christmas Jumper Day, along with other seasonal ways to get involved. You can find all of these on our Christmas Giving page.

*Please tick the box on the last page so we can properly thank you for your contribution and keep you updated on other ways to get involved.*
