We are calling on your support as we come together as a global music community to do whatever we can to assist those in urgent need in Israel and Palestine.

In Place of War is a registered charity in the UK, with a 20 year history of working in places of conflict and the distribution of small grants to grassroots organisations. During the past 20 years of In Place of War, one conflict has dominated, and in the past week the conflict in Israel and Palestine has once again reignited with mass casualties on both sides. The world has been deeply moved by the humanitarian struggle and the need to end this brutal and complex situation and to deliver the peace that the majority of people in the region desire.

In Place of War works with art, creativity and music in places of conflict as a tool for positive, social change. We are moved to create an emergency appeal through which we are calling on fans of music, those who make music, and those who are part of the music infrastructure, to donate what they can to support grassroots, on-the-ground organisations in both Israel and Palestine, to respond to their critical situation and help bring stability and look forward in building a peaceful solution. These organisations have pivoted from their daily activities in the current emergency to offer humanitarian support to their communities.

Whilst it cannot end the conflict, we believe it will reignite the hope, in supporting those who have the vision in solidarity and positive change. We are collaborating with four grassroots organisations in both Israel and Palestine, which we will provide financial support in helping with medical assistance, access to food and water, support with rebuilding infrastructure and supporting their continued search for creative solutions for peace. The organisations we are supporting are committed to peacebuilding. They are:
