Kennel Block Build Appeal

We are raising funds to enable us to build a block of 20 kennels. With these in place we would hope to be able to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome around 200 dogs each year.

Although our Branch was established in 1911 it was not until October 2016 that we were finally able to raise the funds to open our animal rescue centre at The Holdings, Kempsey, Worcestershire.
Our Centre currently houses cats and small animals and since opening we have rehomed more than 1600 animals. Our passion for animal welfare and rescue means that we believe it our duty to help even more and now that the option of boarding dogs for rehoming in private boarding establishments is no longer available to us, the need for our own kennels is more urgent than ever.
We are delighted that after years of tirelessly campaigning, fundraising and planning, our expansion plans have finally started to come to fruition, with work commencing on the build of our reception, dog grooming facility and veterinary room in August 2021. However the funds raised still fall short of what we need to complete the final phase of our project; the build of 20 kennels.
It is our belief that, with 20 kennels on site, we should be able to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome as many as 200 dogs per year.
We have a non-destruction policy and it is our goal to ensure that all of our animals are provided with a warm, safe and secure space, good food, veterinary treatment and lots of love, care and attention from our dedicated team of staff and volunteers. We work with every single animal to make sure they are ready for adoption, no matter how long that may take, and we take the time to carefully match them to suitable adopters.
Many dogs coming into our care will not have not had the best start in life, but we will do everything we can to give them the best chance to find a wonderful forever home, just like Jacko (see his before and after pictures in our gallery).
Please help us to help more dogs like Jacko to find their forever homes by donating to our campaign.
