Story

Luke Climbs for Luke's

Rathgar business man Luke Smith is taking on a spectacular Himalayan challenge to climb Annapurna IV, the world's 10th highest mountain, in April 2022 for St Luke's Cancer Hospital, Dublin. Luke is funding his expedition and all donations go directly to St Luke's.

Luke will take part in a British led 5 week Himalayan Challenge, which will see him trek to Base camp and then ascend Annapurna, the 10th biggest Mountain in the world. Annapurna IV is a spectacular 7,525 metre peak and the climb can be completed in 32 days. The climb requires 4 camps to be set above Base Camp and is predominately over snow and ice. This is a very physically and mentally demanding challenge for which Luke has trained hard over the last year. By supporting Luke you are supporting St Luke's - thank you!
