Story
In 2026, Northwood Football Club celebrates its 100th anniversary, and we are marking this milestone by giving something back to the community that has supported the club for generations.
As part of our centenary year, Northwood FC has launched a year-long partnership with Mount Vernon Cancer Centre Charity, with a specific focus on supporting the Lynda Jackson Centre, which provides vital emotional, practical and wellbeing support to people affected by cancer and their loved ones.
The partnership launches on Valentine’s Day with our campaign “Love your local football club, love your local hospital, love your community”, setting the tone for a year of activity designed to bring people together and support those affected by cancer.
Throughout 2026, we will be delivering a series of community events and initiatives, including the Northwood100 Fitness Challenge, encouraging local children to complete 100 laps, and a Celebrity Football Match on Monday 4 May, alongside other centenary events across the year.
All funds raised will support Mount Vernon Cancer Centre Charity, helping the Lynda Jackson Centre continue its vital work within our local community.
