When Peter's beloved partner Suzi took her leave, he was determined to carry on the fundraising that they had so enjoyed doing together. She had adored horses, so Peter set about finding somewhere that she would have loved to support and came across Mane Chance. Determined to make a difference he decided to plan a walk along the Pilgrims Way from Winchester to Canterbury - a route of approximately 136 miles and which goes right next to the sanctuary! He and Dotty, his canine companion, will be making this trek from April 22nd for about 2 weeks. Dotty is an old girl so Peter will push her along for some of it in a buggy to save her legs! This huge undertaking is all to raise money for Mane Chance and the work they do with rescued horses and vulnerable people. Our heroes intend to raise enough money to make a difference!
