Story

My name is Phillipene. I have had PTSD since I was 4 years old - from ongoing trauma until I was 37 years old. I was finally diagnosed with PTSD when I was in my 40s. This is why I'm taking on the highest parachute jump in England this October. Yes, it is 15,000 ft! Let's help the people who are forgotten about! 🙏

Founded in 2009, registered charity PTSD Resolution is dedicated to assisting UK Veterans, Reservists and family members struggling to reintegrate into everyday life.

The charity provides FREE, prompt and effective therapy - available in-person (across the UK), online or by phone. There is no waiting list and no referral required to access treatment.

It is one of the only organisations to provide therapy to Veterans suffering with addiction issues or who are in prison - as well as to family members, including partners and children, who may experience the symptoms of trauma from living with a traumatised Veteran.

With 5,000 referrals to date, PTSD Resolution has a uniquely ‘lean’ operation, with no salaried staff or assets - and relies entirely on donations and grants.

- PTSD Resolution is accredited by the Royal College of Psychiatrists to the Quality Network for Veterans Mental Health Services (QNVMHS).

Client Testimonial (UK Veteran): "When I called PTSD Resolution, I was in a really bad way and had already developed a suicide plan. They were really quick to act: within 24 hours, they had put me in touch with a local therapist and my treatment began. Without PTSDR, there would certainly be more suicides and I, for one, would not be here now.”
