Reptile Support Fund

The Sussex Reptile Rescue Centre, based in Bognor Regis, is a small registered charity providing essential care for sick, injured, and unwanted reptiles across Sussex.

The Sussex Reptile Rescue Centre was set up to provide care, rehoming, education and treatment to Ill, injured and unwanted reptiles. We are a small organisation which is run purely through expertise by volunteers.

Story

The Sussex Reptile Rescue Centre is a small registered charity based in Bognor Regis, providing vital care for sick, injured, and unwanted reptiles across the county of Sussex.

We currently care for a wide range of rescued animals, including 6 Bearded Dragons, 5 Leopard Geckos, 8 Royal Pythons, 1 Corn Snake, and 6 Tortoises. Every day, these animals rely on us for specialist care—proper heating, lighting, nutrition, and, in many cases, urgent veterinary treatment.

Many of the reptiles that come into our care have been neglected, abandoned, or surrendered by owners who can no longer meet their complex needs. Without our support, these animals would have nowhere else to go.

We are now aiming to raise £5,000 to help cover the rising costs of:

Veterinary treatment and emergency care

Heating and lighting essential for survival

Specialist diets and daily husbandry

Enclosure maintenance and rescue transport

As a small charity, we rely entirely on donations from the public. With increasing numbers of reptiles needing help and rising care costs, we are under growing pressure to continue our work.

Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly towards giving these animals the care and second chance they deserve.
