Skydive for Beacon

I’m taking on a skydive to celebrate Beacon’s 150th birthday and raise money for a cause close to my heart! Beacon has been supporting people living with sight loss for an incredible 150 years!

I’ve decided to take on a huge challenge in aid of Beacon, I’m going to be doing a skydive on the 12th June!
My name is Susan and I currently volunteer at Beacon's charity shop in Bilston, and I’ve been there just over a year. I absolutely love it and really enjoy being part of the team. Beacon is a cause that’s very close to my heart, especially because my partner is partially sighted, so I see first-hand just how important the work Beacon does.
This year, Beacon is celebrating an incredible 150 years of supporting people with sight loss, and I wanted to do something special to help raise money and mark the occasion.
On a recent holiday, I tried parasailing and then paragliding, and I loved it so much that I thought, why not go one step further and do a skydive!
I’d be so grateful for your support. Any donation, no matter how small, will help Beacon continue to make a real difference in people’s lives.
I've set myself a fundraising target of £1,500 and it would be absolutely amazing if i could reach it! This money could help fuel our four minibuses enabling blind and partially sighted people to get out and about in their community for six months.
