Walk your dog and support those facing homelessness in your community

22 February is National Walk Your Dog Day and on that day, over 100 people will be taking the opportunity to walk their dogs while supporting Turning Tides. It will be a heartwarming day out with furry friend(s) at Brooklands Park, Worthing, BN15 8RR! Together, we can make a difference for those facing homelessness in our community.

Turning Tides recognizes the emotional support pets offer and is committed to ensuring no one has to give up their pet to find shelter. Three of our key services are now StreetVet Accredited, providing a safe, supportive environment for both individuals and their pets. This ensures pet owners can receive the help they need and are not excluded.

These are the words of Ben, a client - "I've been a client of Turning Tides for four years, and I can notice such a difference in the year I've had my dog Blue. Having a dog that is always pleased to see me definitely helps my mental health and calms me down on bad days. We go on long walks together and play ball which gets me active. I live in shared housing and Blue helps to cheer up everyone who lives here. He's a mischief but his wagging tail always makes me smile."
