NDAS supports all affected by domestic abuse, regardless of background or identity. Our person centred, trauma-informed approach helps clients and their families rebuild their lives. Operating across Northamptonshire, we raise awareness and advocate for the eradication of domestic abuse.

Story

Every year, hundreds of people in Northamptonshire turn to us for support after experiencing domestic abuse.

Right now, funding is under huge pressure and many survivors face the terrifying choice of staying with an abuser or leaving with nothing.

That's why this October we're asking our community to come together for Steps to Safety.

The challenge: Walk 100,000 steps during October (approx. 3,200 a day) You can do it your way - walking, running, swimming, cycling or simply moving more everyday.

The goal: Raise vital funds so no one in Northamptonshire has to face domestic abuse alone.

Your steps are symbolic, you don't need to prove them. What matters is that you raise awareness and funds to help survivors take their own steps to safety.

How to get involved:

1: Click the 'Start Fundraising' tab to set up your own page

2: Set your target

3: Share your page with friends, family & colleagues

4: Track your steps however you like (apps, phone or even a notebook)

5: Post updates on social media using #Steps2SafetyNDAS
