Story
Every day we encourage and challenge our students with learning disabilities to do and be the best they can. All the profits from our social enterprises - our Vineyard Garden Centre and Café, log delivery service and garden maintenance - are reinvested back into our day care services, so we can continue to provide the best possible experience for our students. However, to fully realise what it is we want to do, we have to fundraise through other means.
On 28th July, Nikki Marley (CEO), Suzanne OBrien (Chair), and Mike Theoff (Operations and Care Manager) will be completing a triathlon to raise funds for new sports equipment, allowing us to run accessible and inclusive sport sessions. The health benefits for our students will be vast as they move and groove around to get more active.
Nikki will kick things off with a 1,500-metre indoor swim before handing the baton over to Mike, who will cycle a mixed terrain 50km route to Toddlers Cove, Canterbury. Suzanne will then run 5 kilometres towards Chartham and back, concluding the event.
