Help support our children this Easter by giving during Lent.

As we go into Lent, we are mindful of the importance of this time for so many in our community. For the next 40 days in the lead up to Easter, many people will choose to give up something or start doing or giving to mark the Lent period. We are asking our donors to consider giving over this period to help support our children this Easter with essential supplies and health supplements.

For the children at our Schools, the end of Lent and the Easter celebration is a special time for them to reflect and celebrate a brighter future. Every year at Easter, the Sisters of Mary celebrate with the children by giving gifts to each child. In each parcel, the children receive:

essential school supplies

fruit

health supplements (vitamins)

toiletries (eg. soap or shampoo)

These seem small and day-to-day for many of us, but for children who have experienced such neglect, a personal gift like this is unheard of. These items which feel so basic for us are luxuries for children whose families struggle to survive on a daily basis.

So whether you mark Lent or are just excited for Pancake Day, help us support the children in our care with a donation.
