Story

This is our 2nd year and we're not just dedicating our Teddy Wears BLUE Campaign to those children who are struggling every day living with the RARE brain disease; Aromatic Amino Acid Decarboxylase deficiency (AADC / AADCd) but also to those four children we have devastatingly lost during the past 5 months and to the many before that.

We want you to join us by dressing in BLUE for a day, two days or even all week and make a small donation to our page to help us continue to fund research to find a #CureAADC.

If you can, why not also plant some forget me not seeds somewhere suitable near where you live and give a BIG Blue Wave to our spirits in the Sky.   You'll probably have special spirits in the sky of your own you can also give a BIG Blue WAVE too.

On 27th May, the FINAL day of our Campaign we're holding a Charity Garden Party on the lawns of the the Devere Selsdon Estate, Sanderstead, Surrey UK between 2pm - 5pm.  During our party, amongst many other things, we'll be scattering 2kg of Forget Me Not Seeds within the 200 acres of ground of this stunning hotel in memory of our children, we'll also be asking all the children who come along to join in by painting their hands (washable paints) and printing them on to our HUGE art canvas creating a sea of BLUE Waves.

Finally we'll be gathering up everyone who attends into the centre to give a BIG Blue Wave to our spirits (and yours) in the sky.  A truly special moment, we will FORGET YOU NOT!

It's FREE ENTRY to join us on at our Charity Garden Party!

Please do share what you'll be doing this week to raise AADC awareness, send us your pics @aadctrust and Instagram or follow us on Facebook
