Story
Anthony will walk Ben Nevis , Scafell Pike and Mount Snowden over a week for Bridge House. This amounts to a grueling 26 miles (42km) total horizontal distance and 3,000m (9,843ft) of vertical ascent.
Bridge House serves men and women over the age of 18 whose lives have been severely affected by drug and/or alcohol dependency. There, our professional and friendly staff help people get their lives back on track. They empower people to sustain positive changes.
By raising money to refurbish residents rooms and providing computers (to support therapy an for residents to learn and apply for jobs), Anthony is helping to turn Bridge House into a beacon for rehabilitation and recovery in the North West.
Anthony is one of our inspirational Rehabilitation Project Workers and an ex-serviceman.
Anthony is raising funds to refurbish Bridge House. While the centre is a functional place where people can change their lives, he is beginning the journey towards a new era for Bridge House. By refurbishing the centre we can make it more effective.
Renovations will help residents feel more comfortable and give a new angle to our therapeutic approach. This has a great effect on the self-esteem and stability required by an individual to make constructive changes to their lives. As a consequence, Anthony's fundraising will allow more people make lasting and meaningful changes to their lives, therefore helping individuals, families and communities.
