Story

We need your help to support women in need.

Fatima House offers temporary shelter to women forced to flee their country of origin who would otherwise be destitute: women who have faced violence and exploitation; women who have nowhere else to turn for help.

We need your help so we can buy essential items, like food and toiletries. Please give what you can.

Fatima House is an example of how much can be achieved in a short space of time when we work together. Under the initiative of Caritas, partners in the form of the Catholic Archdiocese of Birmingham, Columban Missionaries Britain and Father Hudson's Care, with the support of the local parish, volunteers, funders, individuals and experts have joined together to offer essential support to vulnerable female asylum seekers. For up to nine women at a time, many of whom have nothing but the clothes they stand up in, Fatima House will be a place of safety and recovery.
