Our goal is to make Oxford Bridge Club one of the most active and welcoming clubs in Oxfordshire, with club rooms that are light, comfortable and accessible to all, and that can accommodate our growing numbers of members, students and visitors.  

The cost of the vital building work to modernise our clubhouse is already covered by a mortgage, but we are now looking for money to complete the interior.  

We plan a number of improvements: to install a hearing loop to make life easier for the hard of hearing; to refurbish the windows at the front of the building, improving their appearance and helping to keep out noise and draughts; to equip our new, modern kitchen, so that we can offer catering facilities; and of course to replace worn-out carpets, curtains and furniture. 

We welcome every contribution to the project.  If you give £1,000 or more, you will receive free Founder Life membership. But any donation, however large or small, will help. 

£750-£1000 will buy a new dishwasher, fridge or cooker.

£7,000 will refurbish the windows at the front of the building

To provide a hearing loop will cost £20,000+.

On the other hand, £25 would buy four new cups and saucers – and we need a great deal of those…  

Every contribution will help the Club create a lighter, brighter home for OBC in the years to come – and we will all benefit from that.
