The Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases Charitable Fund is a registered Charity dedicated to supporting the RNHRD NHS FT, affectionately known as "The Min", through grants for medical research, and providing funds for specialist equipment and amenities to enhance patient care.

Story

218K - this is the distance I will be walking between Feb 27th and March 14th 2012.

I will be following the route of the Canal Du Midi in the South of France (All expenses covered by myself)

I am aiming to raise £1000 so any donations will be gratefully accepted - every little helps. If you want to donate old school style then contact me and I can let you know what to do.

All money donated will go to the RNHRD (Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases - locally known as The Min)

In December 2009 I walked from Bath to London, raising £1768 for SILA the Sarcoidosis charity. Since 2008 I've been on treatment for Sarcoidosis and this is likely to continue until summer 2012 at the earliest so I decided to fight it, personally, and try and raise money to help others fight it too. There is no known cause or cure for Sarcodiosis. The Min has been fabulous in helping me - my consultant there has been a crucial support and key to my current good health, along with my GP Surgery. I have chosen to raise money for the Min as a gesture of thanks and support, and to help their good work continue.

GIFT AID OBVIOUSLY!
