Bliss is the leading UK charity for babies born premature or sick. We rely on donations to fund our work but with one baby admitted to neonatal care every five minutes we don’t have the resources to reach every baby who needs us. Your donation can help Bliss ensure every baby gets the best care.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: BLISS will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. So please sponsor me now! Many thanks for your support. Our epic adventure will begin on the 1st July 2007, setting off from Surrey. Our adventure will cover 8 different countries, cover 4000 miles and will last 6 days!!!!!! Although we set off on the 1st July we will have a series of fund raising events dotted around Essex and Kent, Including Romford High street, Colchester and Southend on Sea. We are still yet to confirm Lakeside and Bluewater shopping centres. We are still in talks over what vehicle to use as some big car companies are involved and are very interested such as Bentley, BMW, Nissan and Subaru. Please note we are normal working class people who believe that this charity deserves all the help it can get as it saves so many babies every year, one of which is my own daughter. So please help us help them. Wish us all the best and support us in any way you can! We will update the page as and when we can to let donators know our progress on this event. Thanks once again for all your help. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Car Progress: 17th May 2007. As some of you might know we have chosen a Subaru Impreza for the event and may I say it is looking very MEAN!!!!!! The car has all the mods expected in a rally car but we have added a few tweeks of our own LOL!!!! Looking and sounding great!!!!!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 24th May A big thank you to Henry and his parents hope the new pic is to your taste Ha Ha Ha . Car is going in to be Dyno tuned tomorrow and ECU to be re-mapped!!! In short nothing less than 380BHP Impreza, looks like the Lambo's and Ferrari's had better watch out !!!!! After all we are the under dogs right???????????????????? Remember Romford is this Saturday at South Street so come say hello . -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 26th May 2007 Romford!!!!!! We arrived at Romford town centre at 8am, slightly tired from the night before lol! Phil was a whizz at putting the marquee up over the car as well as placing the roller sign in a strategic position for people to see ...... Things were not going to plan as we found out by 9am that our promo girls had let us down. So us being us stepped up to the plate!!!! We rattled our collection pots for 12 hours with no break .... Many people in Romford had comments about the car and charity we were fund raising for, as well as shouting "OI, you were that bloke on channel 4". The people in Romford were amazing, very generous and very funny ....... Big shout out for Steve the fruit and veg guy who totally made our day!!!! You are the NUTS!!!!! CHELMSFORD in 2 weeks see you there.
