On 8th/9th August 2009, we canoed from The Greyhound Inn @ Hawkesbury Junction on the Coventry Canal, to The Globe Inn @ Snarestone at the end of the Ashby Canal, and back again. A distance of approx. 48 miles. As neither of us has done anything like this before, we found it a really good challenge.
