Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

What?  Yep, we're canoeing all 135 miles of the non-tidal River Thames! Carrying with us all our camping gear and sleeping under the stars (rain) every night.

Why?  Raising money in memory of my dad, Brian Haines, who lost his battle with MND in January 2011.  Monies will be split between the national branch and dad's local Reading branch.

When?  7 days starting September 1st from Cricklade, finishing September 7th at Teddington Lock (passing thru Caversham Thurs 4th).

How? Our 3 seater red canoe, Lovely Bertha, will be carrying us on our voyage.
