Canterbury Half Marathon · 27 March 2009

Pilgrims Hospices is a charity providing palliative care, free of charge, to people in east Kent. For people with a range of life-limiting illnesses, specialist services are provided from our three hospices in Canterbury, Ashford and Thanet, in patients' homes and via community programmes.

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page!

We are a group of Canterbury F1 doctors raising money for our local hospice by running the Canterbury half marathon. We are all very out of shape after a kebab fuelled 6 months and need all the help and encouragement we can get to make it round the course!

This year, we have had close contact with the Pilgrims hospice through patients that we have cared for with terminal illnesses. We all feel that the hospice is extremely important in providing support, comfort and dignity to those with life-limiting illnesses and their families.

We are very grateful for your support of this worthwhile cause.

Many thanks,

The Canterbury Doctors.
