The National Literacy Trust aims to create a society in which everyone has the reading, writing, speaking and listening skills that they need to fulfil their own and, ultimately, the nation’s potential.

Story

In April we recreated Geoffrey Chaucer's Canterbury Tales: a group of modern pilgrims walked from Southwark to Canterbury over four days, telling stories along the way. It was the 625th anniversary of the journey in Chaucer's poem. You can read about the journey in this Guardian article.

We are still raising money for the National Literacy Trust, which transforms lives through literacy, supporting those who struggle with literacy and the people who work with them. Please give generously!
