Canter for Sight 5K

Team Canter for Sight has been assembled by David Bradford, who suffers from the eyesight disorder retinitis pigmentosa (RP). RP is a genetically inherited, progressive condition that harms the retina, causing night-blindness and a gradual loss of peripheral vision, which can result in total blindness. It is the most common cause of blindness among the working population of the UK.

The Canter for Sight team will be running the Kings Head Canter 5K, in East Hoathly, East Sussex, on 25th August 2008, to raise money for RP Fighting Blindness (the British Retinitis Pigmentosa Society) - a charity which supports RP sufferers and raises money to fund scientific research into finding a cure.

To join the team and run the race, email David at: bradfordd@hotmail.co.uk
