Background info

David () was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa (RP) in 2006 and is gradually losing his sight, so RP Fighting Blindness is a charity he's personally motivated to support. RP is a progressive eyesight disorder that causes a gradual breakdown of the retina, and is the most common cause of blindness among the working population of the . RP Fighting Blindness funds research into finding treatment and, hopefully, one day, a cure.
