In a few months on our gap year we will find ourselves in New Zealand, perched on top of a large canyon about to do something very stupid. Specifically, jumping off it with a bit of rope holding us up. After some discussion on this topic we decided that having a bit more incentive to make ourselves go through with it would be no bad thing, so we thought we'd do it for charity!
The first leg of our travels involves spending a month in Uganda where we will be working alongside a charity called "Serve Uganda". (You can find out more details about the charity on their website here: http://uganda.servedirect.org/). It made sense to us to choose them as our selected charity to raise the money for.
We will be doing the Shotover Canyon Swing in Queenstown (http://www.canyonswing.co.nz/). They offer a different range of jumpstyles, and depending on how much money we raise, we'll jump off in progressively crazier ways.
